I’ve been wanting to try and create my own fonts for a while. I decided to buy Fontself Maker. Why not because they have an education discount for teachers and students. You have to fill out the form on the website at Fontself.com
I was on a facebook group for Digital Media Teachers and I was super excited by watching the students design their own fonts. What better way to remember all the parts of a letterform. Besides redoing my kitchen… I’ll be creating my own font. What will it be script, san serif, serif, display, there are so many choices.
It was very easy to install so far and says that it works with newer version of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CC. Will keep you posted!

Hi there, did you buy the fontself bundle for illustrator and photoshop? I wish they offerred fontself for photoshop only because the subscription price is much cheaper you know.

I purchased the bundle with the educational discount for $49 for both. I could have purchased the version just for Illustrator, but when I saw the discount for education decided to get both. Sorry that you want just the Photoshop version. If you find any good tutorials on Fontself please share!
